Mayfield Sports Days went well this year despite the heatwave. After a short delay, Lower School Sports Day finally went ahead. Kindergarten joined in for the first time and enjoyed their races and Nightingale won the Junior House Cup after amassing a ten point lead over Scott and Livingstone. 

Upper School Sports Day took place earlier on in the term on a beautiful sunny day. Pupils were competitive and up for the challenge. Lower III completed their competition for the overall Boys and Girls winner having completed their field events in PE lessons previously. The individual results from Sports Day are below. Livingstone won the Senior House Cup with a significant lead over Scott and Nightingale due to the achievements of Aarohi, Simaaya and Nikhil in Lower III.

Mayfield Under 11s  team convincingly won 5 out of 5 matches in the Walsall Schools cricket competition at Aldridge Cricket Club. They qualified for the finals and are optimistic about their chances of becoming Walsall Schools Champions. Watch this space for further updates.
