Before School Care
From 07:30
Before School Club is available each morning from 7:30 -8:20 in our School Hall with art and craft activities, board games including chess, and some physical activities including balloon tennis and skipping. Parents are encouraged to pre-book places, but we gladly welcome all children without a prior booking.
From 08:20
School opens at 8:20 each morning for 'Wake and Shake' in the school Hall for all children from Kindergarten to Lower III. Start of the Day activities are available for all Pre-Nursery and Nursery children in their classrooms.
From 08:30
Formal teaching commences at 8:30 in the classrooms with English and Maths activities in Kindergarten to Form I and Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning activities from Lower II to LIII ( English and Maths activities following the 11 plus examinations).

After School Care
Available to all pupils from Pre-Nursery to Lower III, located in the Nursery classroom.

Pre-Nursery & Nursery
1st session: 15:25 – 16:45, £5 | 2nd session: 16:45 – 17:45, additional £4
Kindergarten to LIII pupils (Reception to Year 6)
1st session: 15:40 - 16:45, £5 | 2nd session: 16:45 - 17:45, additional £4
Full session of After School Care: 15:40 - 17:45 (2 hours), £9 per day
Pupils can also attend After School Club following the conclusion of any extra-curricular clubs that they participate in.
Holiday Club
Each school Holiday, Mayfield staff organise a fun and varied programme of activities for pupils from Pre-Nursery to Lower III, Mondays to Fridays (excluding Bank Holidays). Prior booking is required. Morning, afternoon, whole days and individual days can be booked to suit the needs of families.
